Notification of award of the following: Thames Water (TWUL) are seeking a partner or partners to deliver an end to end solution for the provision of septicity control; which involves the reduction and prevention of the formation of hydrogen sulphide within Thames Water waste water network and supply and installation of refurbishments and maintenance. The key scope of requirements are as follows: 1. Supply of chemical for septicity dosing. 2. Delivery of chemical to required Thames Water sites. 3. Monitoring septicity dosing tank chemical volumes and monitoring dosing flow rates from dosing pumps to ensure that correct dosing is maintained. 4. Providing septicity control advice in relation to hydrogen sulphide detection, modelling chemical dosing solutions and chemical dosing optimisation. 5. Supply and installation of septicity control dosing units. 6. Provision of routine and preventative maintenance of septicity control related new and existing assets. Lot 1 relates to activities which are related to the supply and expertise relating to the septicity control chemical. This lot shall encompass the following: — the supply of the Thames Water selected septicity control chemical, — the monitoring of the volume levels of the septicity control chemical within a septicity control dosing unit, — the monitoring of the chemical dosing rates of the septicity control dosing unit to ensure that dosing is applied as profiled, — the service of providing septicity control related advice including but not limited to advice relating to Hydrogen Sulphide detection, the modelling of septicity control dosing solutions and the optimisation of septicity control dosing. Lot 2 shall encompass the following: — the supply of septicity control dosing assets, — the supply of temporary septicity control dosing assets, — the installation of septicity control dosing assets, — the service to maintain all Thames Water septicity control dosing assets. This includes assets that already exist or are newly acquired by Thames Water. This maintenance includes but is not limited to both reactive and preventative maintenance which is to fulfil a predefined maintenance routine.
