Description

Ports of Jersey is looking to encapsulated impacted materials from the airport site. This will involve the transport of the material from the construction site, the formation of a testing area with individual bays and the creation of storage cells formed from geotechnical clay membranes creating a series of bunds. All surplus ground/overage should be allocated to the airport bunds, which requires obtaining planning permission from the Government of Jersey for construction.
