The cost of the new service will be met through New Burdens funding. A full open procurement process is planned to take place in the coming months that will seek to appoint a contractor for a 3-year (+ 1 + 1) contract. Capacity and demand for this service will be monitored over the life of the contract. Increased investment will be considered in light of funding made available for Domestic Abuse services, and will be approved in accordance with the Council's Financial Procedure Rules
