The successful supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Spencer Academies Trust (the client) at the following academies: — George Spencer Academy, Arthur Mee Road, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 7EW, — Derby Moor Academy, Moorway Lane, Derby DE23 2FS, — John Port Academy, Main Street, Etwall, Derby DE65 6LU, — Long Field Academy, Ambleside Way, Melton Mowbray LE13 0BN, — Heanor Gate Science College, Kirkley Drive, Smalley, Heanor DE75 7RA, — Fairfield Primary Academy, Toton Lane, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 7HB, — Wyndham Primary Academy, Wyndham Street, Derby DE24 0EP, — Sunnyside Primary Academy, Reynard Way, Northampton NN2 8QS, — Portland Primary Academy, Westwick Road, Nottingham NG8 4HB, — Chetwynd Primary Academy, Chetwynd Road, Beeston NG9 6FW, — Glenbrook Primary Academy, Wigman Road, Nottingham NG8 4PB, — Inkersall Primary Academy, Inkersall Green Road, Inkersall, Chesterfield S43 3SE, — Arnold Hill Academy, Gedling Road, Arnold, Nottingham NG5 6NZ. Spencer Academies Trust is a Multi Academy Trust which includes the above academies, where the successful supplier will be required to deliver a service and meet the requirements of the specification from the contract commencement. The Trust is expected to grow in the number of academies becoming part of the Trust during this contract period, and the provision of cleaning services within these academies when they have joined the Trust may fall under the scope of this contract. The successful supplier will be expected to provide this service within these Academies using the same costing model, ratios etc that they applied to their successful tender submission for the Trust at the point of tender submission. The duration of contract for these academies will not be increased and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into the Trust. The contract being tendered is for 3 years in duration from 1.1.2019 until 31.12.2021, with the option to extend for a further term of 2 years, and will be fixed price in nature, with the supplier invoicing the client for one-twelfth of the annual cost on a monthly basis. The tender project is seeking to appoint a supplier whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of cleaning services within the client’s facilities. The high quality service levels proposed, should maintain excellent standards throughout, resulting in a pleasant environment for both the pupils and staff. The basis and rationale that the client requires the successful supplier to operate to at all times, is being able to provide an Academy that is fit for purpose and that the supplier is proactive in the management of the contract, thus ensuring that all specifications are achieved and that the frequency of cleans is as detailed within the tender specification. Management support and team development is extremely important and prospective tenderers will be expected to demonstrate their approach to this in detail. In addition, the successful Supplier will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within on the contract performance. It should be noted that the successful supplier will be expected to bring to the contract: innovation; new equipment and cleaning methods, with BICSc standards being achieved, as a minimum, thus ensuring that the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained in all areas at all times and also ensuring that the productivity of the cleaning operatives is enhanced moving forward into the new contract term. The value of the current contract is c. 1 260 000 GBP, pus VAT per annum.
