Description
Demolition works at the recently acquired ex Warwick Chemicals site has been completed. The 45 acre site directly adjoins the Port of Mostyn and as part of the site redevelopment, the newly acquired site is in need of remedial ground works. This work includes the removal of redundant above-ground obstructions such as fencing, gateways, kerbings and foundation footings across the site, separating and crushing existing materials on site, using the material for dressing and levelling-off open areas, clearance of all demolition debris, removal of bunded water reservoirs, trenching for new utilities as required, including lighting columns.Scope of works includes but is not limited to:- Providing Risk Assessments and Method statements for the works carried out;- Crushing of existing material on site, including separation of debris;- Removal of redundant above-ground obstructions such as kerbings, foundation footings, gateways and fencing;- Clearance of all demolitions debris;- Use of crushed material to level off Area 1 and 3;- Demolition and removal of bunded water reservoirs including pumping equipment;- Evaluation of drainage system survey;- Hard dig for utilities trenching as per site plan;- Vegetation strip across the site;- Levelling-off and re-grading of Area 3;- Duration – 12 weeksThe NEC4 Option A Contract standard terms and conditions will be used for this project.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=159023.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:based on the National TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures) developed by the Social Value Portal, these Welsh TOMs have been developed to align with the Wellbeing for Future Generation Act.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
