Description

Police Scotland (PS) and Scottish Fire And Rescue Service (SFRS), with procurement support from Central Government Procurement Shared Services (CGPSS) under a collaborative procurement exercise are seeking to appoint a collaborative business partner to provide hard facilities management services and to participate in the change programme regarding both organisation's estates profile to ensure that buildings and services meet operational needs. The requirement will cover an integrated range of Hard FM planned and reactive maintenance services, including but not limited to the following; general repairs and maintenance services, building fabric repair and maintenance, emergency standby generation installations, water cooler installations, uninterruptible power supplies, lightning conductor installations, lighting and emergency lighting installations, fire alarm and fire suppression installations, sprinkler systems, drainage systems, CCTV, repair and maintenance of security equipment, VESDA (smoke detection) installations, electric heating installations, air conditioning and ventilation installations, roller shutter/concertina door installations, turnstyle barrier systems, automatic door, vehicle barrier, cantilever road blocker and swing gate installations, plumbing installations, portable fire appliances, fire hydrants, heating ventilation and air conditioning installation work, intruder alarm, Cell Call and panic/affray alarm installations, lift installations, water management and testing, energy management, asbestos testing and removal, grounds maintenance, cesspool or septic tank emptying services, snow and ice clearing services, pest control services, repair and maintenance of catering equipment, planned improvements and minor works to an agreed limit. PS/SFRS seek to appoint a single provider for the provision of the above services and will make 2 contract awards, one for each organisation (as advised by corrigendum 2016/S 030-048360). Individual lots shall not be awarded and the contract awards shall provide each service with their required range of hard facilities management services.
