School catering services

Description

The Leadership Team Greenvale Primary School wish to procure the services of a contract caterer to manage it's school's catering service. An innovative meal provider with a child centred business model is required. The leadership at Greenvale Primary School want to appoint a caterer to provide a fully managed catering service. The school wants the caterer to provide meals that will encourage the school community to make healthy choices and in turn increase the uptake of the meals that are served. The contract will be expected to commence on 3.6.2019. The procurement process is open. 4 contractors will be shortlisted following tender submission. 4th to 15th February is dedicated to allowing interested companies to view the facilities. The catering team currently produce an average of 126 meals per day. The team consists of a catering manager and 2 catering assistants. The catering manager post is currently vacant. Members of the team are currently members of the LGPS.
