Occupational Therapy is about making a difference in people’s lives in relation to how safely and well they are able to use the place they call home. This includes small modifications to their home so people can move about safely and use all aspects of their home or items of equipment that will help people to maintain their independence. The trusted assessor training aims to grow the number of staff who can identify where equipment or small modifications might help without needing the specialist skills of an Occupational Therapist. It will ensure staff who currently support people on our Reablement pathway are able to do so safely . Keywords: Adult Social Care
