Translink are seeking to engage with contractors who have proven experience of delivering solutions and principles for charging heavy-duty electric vehicles (buses, coaches, and service vehicles) with the aim of establishing a single supplier framework. The contractor must be able to demonstrate their capability to provide a turnkey charge management solution for various Translink sites throughout Northern ireland with capacities per site of up to 100 vehicles. Lot 1: Translink are seeking to engage with contractors who have proven experience of delivering solutions and principles for charging heavy-duty electric vehicles (buses, coaches, and service vehicles) with the aim of establishing a single supplier framework. The contractor must be able to demonstrate their capability to provide a turnkey charge management solution for various Translink sites throughout Northern ireland with capacities per site of up to 100 vehicles. The Vehicle Electric Charging Solutions will meet or exceed: all required NI/UK/European legislation and protocols necessary for the deployment of electrical vehicle charging including meeting the standards set out in ISO15118. suitable for 15-year operational life minimum. compatible with the battery specification from the relevant EV vehicle supplier in all instances. must be fitted with CCS Combo 2 plugs. The appointed Contractor will have a local representative based in Northern Ireland to deal with the day-to-day site management and any issues arising from the contract. Duration Once the framework is established it is envisaged to run for an initial period of five (5) years from the commencement date with the option(s) to extend up to and including thirty-six (36) months. Once established the framework does not guarantee any orders from Translink as any potential order is subject to funding. It is anticipated that the framework will commence with an initial call off contract of up to 100 chargers. This Notice is to initiate a market engagement and information gathering exercise and does not indicate the start of a procurement exercise. It is instead intended to act as an informal market research document providing a brief synopsis of Translink’s future requirements. This document is not intended to provide a definitive list of requirements. . 2. We intend to invite interested suppliers to present to a range of Translink personnel and discuss Heavy-Duty Vehicle Electric Charging Solutions each can offer.. . 3. This document is not a tender specification nor request for quotation. Translink is merely investigating market opportunities at this stage without entering into any contractual or financial commitments.. . 4. Please note, progress in the project will be subject to the availability and timing of funding. If this requirement is given financial approval, it will be tendered under the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. Any documents, discussions, presentations, demonstrations, or clarifications submitted for this Market Research will not be considered as any part of the tender exercise. If Translink does decide to proceed with a competitive tender process, a separate detailed tender specification document will be produced as part of that process.. . 5.
