Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementet, Klima- og miljødepartementet og Helse og omsorgsdepartementet (the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, the Ministry of Climate and Environment and the Ministry of Health and Care Services) want to jointly develop a feasibility study that highlights the potential for efficiency in the water and sewage sector and socio-economic effects. The study will also give the ministries suggestions and point out strategies that enable realisation of the potential. The aim of the study is to research and develop potential in the sector with a view to the best possible utilisation of public resources in the coming years. The study will be developed on a broad cross-discipline basis and will be included in the ministries’ future decision basis for the sector.
