Description

The purpose of this tender is to acquire an Automated inverted benchtop fluorescent microscope imaging system to support scientific research involving a broad spectrum of sample types and sizes. Target specimens include microscopic organisms measuring approximately 100–150 µm up to 1 mm in length, three-dimensional spheroids between 200–500 µm, single-cell monolayers with cell dimensions of 5–20 µm and fixed tissue sections up to 1 cm². This diversity of sample formats requires an imaging platform capable of providing both low and high-magnification imaging (2× to 60×) with a minimum of a 5-position turret for the magnification objectives. Moreover, the system must support both bright field and multi-channel fluorescence imaging. In particular, it should provide detection of a minimum of four independent fluorescence channels. The ability to perform real time imaging of live cells is also essential to facilitate time-lapse experiments.
