Proposed Extension to Scoil Bhride, Mullaghrafferty, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan

Description

The proposed extension will include a classroom, 2No. Resource Rooms, Toilet Facilities, Link Corridor and a staff room. The contract drawings show the extent of the work which includes:- 1. Minor internal demolition works. The demolition work will involve removal of Asbestos. The contractor should engage a suitably qualified and approved sub-contractor for this work. 2. Construction of the single storey extension, comprising substructure, foundations, rising walls and floors, internal and external block walling, and roofing. External and internal finishes including plastering, windows and doors, internal joinery, painting, tiling, suspended ceilings, flooring and other internal finishes. 3. External works will include excavating and grading of ground levels, new foul and storm services and relocating an underground 10kV ESB power cables. 4. Heating, plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire alarm, intruder alarm and other alterations are the responsibility of the main Contractor. The latter will engage suitably qualified domestic sub-contractors who are capable of design and installation of the above services. 5. The Main Contractor will be appointed as Project Supervisor (Construction Stage) in Health and Safety matters. 6. Monaghan You are invited to submit a fixed price lump sum tender for the works described in the documents attached. A hardcopy of your Form of Tender, Programme of Works, C2, Insurances and Detailed Tender Breakdown should be enclosed in an envelope clearly marked “Scoil Bhride, Mullaghrafferty” and should be returned to Mr. Colm Lennon, Finegan & Jackson, The Stables, Drumconrath Road, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, before Friday, 10th February 2017 at 12 Noon.
