Provision of Car Park Barrier Maintenance & Associated Services (2024-28)

Description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to a project to establish a Contract for the Provision of Car Park Barrier Maintenance & Associated Services (2024-28) (UOS-31498-2024) at the University of Strathclyde. The University of Strathclyde (the "University") is seeking to establish a contract to provide planned / reactive maintenance services for its automatic car park barrier equipment. At present these consist of 9 automatic barriers, 3 rising bollards, and 1 hydrakerb traffic barrier. The Contract will include, however, will not be limited to: - Reactive services to repair, refurbish, and overhaul existing equipment, including automatic barriers, rising bollards, and hydrakerb systems: - Planned & preventative maintenance (PPM) visits twice per year to ensure all equipment is serviced, and operating correctly; and - Supply, delivery & installation of new barriers, if required by the University, including ANPR cameras. The Contract will be awarded on a sole supply basis, and its remit largely relates to Services.
