The work is to construct a raised table and toucan crossing on Morriston Road at Elgin Academy. The purpose of the raised table is to slow vehicle speeds and provide an improved crossing point for pedestrian and cyclists. The toucan crossing will provide a controlled crossing point, particularly for pupils and staff of Elgin Academy, that feeds into the existing pedestrian entrance to the school.
