Sefton Council is looking for a suitable supplier for the Hiring of Fencing & Barriers for the Southport Air Show and The British Musical Fireworks Championship. Background Sefton Council?s Tourism Section is responsible for arranging events for the Southport area which includes the Southport Air Show and the British Musical Fireworks Championships each year. They are hugely popular events that are well attended. Specification ? Southport Air Show to be held 9, 10 & 11 September 2016 To supply, erect and dismantle 1350 crowd control barriers ? these will be positioned around the seafront area, and on the beach. To supply, erect and dismantle 800 heras fence panels with supports, blocks and clips. Width: 3.5m x Height: 2m. These will be positioned around the seafront area and over uneven ground. 180 crowd control barriers ? dry hire. (delivery only) 4 sets of temporary steps, 8? wide with handrails for pedestrian use during the event and to be positioned over the seawall. All the above to be completed by the end of Thursday 8 September and to be dismantled as soon as possible after the event ends on Sunday 11 September, 7pm at the earliest ? British Musical Fireworks Championship to be held 30 September, 1 & 2 October 2016 To supply, erect and dismantle 265 crowd control barriers. To supply, erect and dismantle 210 heras fence panels with supports, blocks and clips. All the above to be completed by the end of Thursday 29 September and to be dismantled on Monday 3 October 2016.
