Revised Water Treatment and Sump Pump System Upgrade

Project title: Birmingham Children’s Hospital – Mains Water Treatment & Sump Pump System Upgrade Project Description: Birmingham Children’s Hospital – is situated at Steelhouse Ln. Birmingham, B4 6NH. The plantroom within the scope of work is on the Block F ground floor level of the building. The incoming mains rise up in the plantroom and extend to the copper ionisation plant at an adjacent room. The Sump Pit is in the same room the incoming mains as at a lower level (accessible by a fixed ladder). The sump pump discharge is pipped to the outside of the CHP room. The water treatment plant will now be free issued to the contractor as per the statement in the specification which states: “A new system shall be purchased by the client and provided free issue to the Contractor”
