PS-26-11 - Wind Turbine Design Specialist for Various Locations Across East Ayrshire (PRJ0013696)

Description

To undertake a feasibility exercise for the potential installation of a wind turbine within or around Doon Academy, Ochiltree and Catrine Primary School sites to include the following tasks as a minimum: -Physical, topographical and environmental constraints -Proximity to dwellings and sensitive receptors -Noise constraints -Slope, aspect and topography -Environmental and heritage designations -Hedgerows, tree corridors and habitat constraints -Access considerations (high level) - Proximity to electrical infrastructure - Aviation and radar safeguarding issues (including NATS, MOD, civil aviation, low flying areas, Met Office radar) - Electromagnetic interference - Shadow flicker - Any additional site-specific constraints - High-level assessment of site access and highway constraints for delivery and erection of turbine components, including identification of any abnormal load or road network limitations.
