Internal and external decoration, guttering and scaffolding access at Jarmans Field

Anchor Hanover Group (Anchor), England’s largest provider of specialist housing and care for people later in life, is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake a redecoration project at one of our locations in Kent: Jarmans Field. The project comprises internal and external redecoration works at an occupied freehold retirement development consisting of 26 two-bedroom bungalows and 4 three-bedroom purpose-built properties. A number of these properties have conservatories of varying designs, which impact affect access requirements. The proposed works include a combination of the following activities: - Removal and replacement of rainwater goods (up to connections with but excluding guttering around each conservatory) - Timber repairs including rotten timber replacement and 2-part epoxy resin care repairs - Preparation and redecoration of fascias, soffits (as required), remaining timber bargeboards, undercroft rafters and associated roofline timbers - Garage timber repairs and redecoration including full preparation and redecoration - Timber front entrance door, bin storage door and entrance archway redecoration including full preparation and redecoration - Limited internal decoration of walls (3 communal rooms), skirting boards and doors in identified areas - Waste removal and disposal - Scaffolding to high areas (with the exclusion of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)) A voluntary standstill period will be observed for 8 working days from 4th August 2026, ending 12:00am 13th August 2026. ## Contract award Title: 2026 Planned Works at Jarmans Field Orchard Drive, Wye, Kent, TN25 5AQ​
