Self Drive Tankers and Self Drive Vacuum Excavators

Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide self drive tankers and self drive vacuum excavators.<br/><br/>Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.<br/><br/>Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. <br/><br/>This procurement will be split into two lots :<br/><br/>Lot 1 – Self Drive Tankers<br/>Lot 2 – Self Drive Vacuum Excavators<br/><br/>The framework will be for an initial period of 4 years plus 4 x 1 year extension options at the discretion of Scottish Water. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Self Drive Tankers Scottish Water requires suppliers to provide a self-drive hire tankering vehicles to be driven by Scottish Water operatives. <br/><br/>Hiring should support short term needs however the option of long term hires will be required.<br/><br/>Suppliers will be required to have the ability to cover all areas of Scotland. <br/><br/>Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include:<br/>• Vehicles suitable for off road empties i.e. tractor and bowser<br/>• 2000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>• 3000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>• 4000 gallon rigid tanker<br/>• HGV Articulated tanker. Vacuum excavation is the preferred method due to its precision, reduced risk of utility strikes, and minimal environmental impact compared to conventional excavation methods.<br/><br/>Vehicles fit for the purpose of each job regards vehicle size and capacity must be available. Vehicles offering must include within this range:<br/><br/>• 3.5 tonnes<br/>• 7.5 tonnes<br/>• 12 tonnes<br/>• 18 tonnes<br/>• 26 tonnes<br/>• 32 tonnes.
