Variation No.4 - Final Year Extension - Courier Services

Description

COPFS currently has a contract for Same Day Courier Services across all sites, with Eagle Couriers (Scotland) Ltd. Variation No.4 is for an initial period of six (6) months whilst COPFS tender the service, as well as an additional six (6) months if necessary for handovers. As per best practice, an Award notice has been issued for the extension period as the overall contract value will now be estimated at GBP 400K. Same day secure delivery of indictments and equipment. The contract was extended for twelve (12) months on 15 May 2020 with an expiry date of 15 July 2021, and further extended to 15 July 2022 and 15 July 2023, each for a period of twelve (12) months. COPFS have extended the contract by a further six (6) months till 14 December 2023 with the latest expiry date until 14 June 2024 under an optional six (6) month extension, to allow for handovers stemming from a competitive tender (currently ongoing).
