Provision of Placement and Quality Assurance service ( Children and Young Persons)

Description

The Government of Jersey is assessing options for the provision of a Placement and Quality Assurance service that strengthens its ability to source, secure and oversee safe, stable and high-quality placements for children and young people in care. This work supports the Government’s wider strategic priority to improve outcomes for children by ensuring access to care that meets their assessed needs and reflects their identity and wellbeing requirements. The current operating environment requires enhanced capacity to identify suitable placements, maintain effective market engagement and provide robust quality assurance throughout the placement journey. The intended benefits include improved placement stability, strengthened sufficiency, better long term outcomes for children and greater transparency and assurance for the Authority.
