Insurance Services excluding Property Insurance

This Pre Market Engagement regarding Ealing Council procuring for the provision of insurance services excluding property insurance to cover any substantial loss to the Council. Ealing Council are seeking to publish tender notice in early April 2026 to procure its suite of insurance requirements which include; - Casualty Insurances (Employer’s Liability, Public Liability, Official’s Indemnity, Professional Indemnity and Medical Malpractice) - Fidelity Guarantee - Motor - Engineering inspection and insurance - Personal Accident & Travel, and School Journey Insurance - Terrorism Also required in respect of all are ancillary services including claims handling for all cover lines. The proposed tender may include property insurance and this will be confirmed in due course. It is envisaged that the service provision will be advertised as separate Lots as included within this notice and bidders will be permitted to bid for individual &/or any combination of lots. It is further envisaged that the procurement will be carried out under the Open procedure under Procurement Act 2023 Regulations. The contract period is estimated to run from October 2026 for the initial contract term of 4 years with an option for renewal for a further 2 years. The indicative overall contract value for the proposed overall contract term (excluding property insurance) will be circa £5,000,000. If property insurance were to be included in this exercise, the indicative overall contract value for the proposed overall contract term would rise to circa £12,000,000 to £13,000,000. The council reserves the right to alter lot titles and further detail regarding the lots and the final versions will be set out clearly in the contract notice and the ITT documentation.
