Support & Maintenance of UL's Student Records System

Description

The Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency (VEA) notice is to inform the market of University of Limerick's intention to enter into a software support and supply contract with Tribal Education Ltd in accordance with Article 32 2 (b) (i.e. the works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons: (ii)competition is absent for technical reasons; (iii) the protection of exclusive rights, including property (rights). The SITS system is the Universities' Students Record System and has been configured, customized and integrated with key systems that support and manage the system. The annual licence renewal and support costs shall be approximately €155,000k per annum exclusive of VAT and as per today's exchange rate. The option of extending the current licence to cater for increased students number, additional functionality or purchase of technical support is additional to the sum above. Replacement costs are estimated to be in the order of €30million. The annual licence renewal and support costs shall be approximately €155,000k per annum exclusive of VAT and as per today's exchange rate. The option of extending the current licence to cater for increased students number, additional functionality or purchase of technical support is additional to the sum above.
