Norsk filminstitutt (NFI) [the Norwegian Film Institute] has created a strategy for 2025 that gives a clear direction and vision for NFI's work going forward through six focus areas. In order to realise the strategy, NFI has seen the need to implement some changes to unleash more power in the organisation. This resulted in an organisation change where the previous subject departments were changed and a strategic staff established. The new organisation came into effect 1 September 2021. The new strategy, the organisation change and previous mapping projects have concluded that NFI has a need to initiate some major improvement projects. Special emphasis has been placed on coordinating grant management and strengthening the collaboration through more uniform processes. Furthermore, the need for strengthened management of finances and operations has become increasingly clear. These two areas will form the assignment and can be seen as two main parts of the delivery.
