Description

United Utilities Water Limited (UU) invites suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of HGVs, specialist utility vehicles, and associated trailers under a multi-lot framework agreement. This procurement supports UU’s AMP8 investment programme and strategic goal of achieving net zero by 2030. The scope includes supply, delivery, pre-delivery inspection, registration, warranty support, training, optional maintenance packages, and parts provision. Suppliers must demonstrate Euro VI compliance, robust aftersales support across the North West, and alignment with UU’s sustainability and operational resilience goals. The agreement will run for 5 years with options to extend up to 8 years. Lot 1 will be awarded to a sole supplier; Lots 2 and 3 will be awarded on a dual-supplier basis (70/30 split). Applicants must meet stringent eligibility criteria including financial standing, ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001), and demonstrate capability across all required service areas. Lot 109332: Lot 1 - HGV Chassis including Rigid and Articulated Units Lot 1 covers the supply of, up to but not limited to, 42 HGV chassis units, including various configurations of tractor, rigid, and articulated units, all up to the UK’s maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 44 tonnes. This lot also includes services such as parts supply, optional maintenance packages, body mounting/remounting, and training tools. Lot 109344: Lot 2 - Tankers - Potable and Wastewater (1) Lot 2 involves, up to but not limited to, 29 tanker units, including vacuum waste and potable water tankers. This lot also includes services such as parts supply, optional maintenance packages, body mounting/remounting, and training tools. Lot 109345: Lot 3 - Trailers including Tippers, Bulk Bodies, and Crane Wagons (1) Lot 3 comprises, up to but not limited to, 11 trailer units, including tipper trailers, bulk tipper bodies, and crane wagons, again with associated parts and support services.
