Description

This requirement is for the purchase and installation of a new automated cage processing system and the removal of the current system. As part of the UK Research and Innovation — Medical Research Council Mary Lyon Center's infrastructure upgrade project, it is seeking to replace its automated cage processing system. A critical element of the operation, this requirement is for a fully integrated automated cage wash system; comprising of two robots (one cleaning/scraping out the cages and placing on conveyor belt for washing and the other taking the cleaned and dried cages, filling with new bedding material and stacking), tunnel washer, cage presentation and waste management system. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the RFP document.
