APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDING - Provision of Adult Numeracy Interventions

Sefton Council is seeking Grant Applications from a range of voluntary and/or community organisations to deliver high quality, innovative numeracy. interventions that meet the needs of local people and the national aims of the Multiply Programme. Eligible organisations include: • Charities registered with the Charity Commission (e.g., Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO’s), unincorporated associations, trusts or charitable not-for profit companies limited by guarantee) • Voluntary/Community Groups that are not registered as a charity (e.g., the group could have set us as an ‘incorporated association’ or an ‘excepted’ charity as defined by the Charity Commission) • Friendly Societies or Industrial and Provident (Community Benefit) Societies with charitable purposes and registered with an appropriate regulator. • Community Benefit or Cooperative Societies • Community Interest Companies (CIC) which charitable aims, a community purpose and limited by guarantee. • Social enterprises that are set up using a recognised legal form.
