Dans le cadre du développement des projets de Trams-Trains en Île-de-France, transilien prévoit la mise en service de plusieurs lignes. Pour exploiter ces lignes dans des conditions optimales, il est nécessaire d'équiper ces lignes d'un SAEIV. Le système d'aide à l'exploitation et à l'information voyageur (SAEIV) est un outil informatique qui doit superviser en temps réel les mouvements du tram-train, adapter l'offre de transport à la demande et aux éventuelles perturbations, à partir des informations recueillies et transmises, et permettre l'information aux voyageurs.
