Description

This is the Discovery and Design Phase of the project. This is a key part of the project lifecycle, and sets the foundation for successful delivery through the following activities: • Commence Stakeholder engagement • Documentation of requirements • Engagement with PCC on Building management requirements • Clarification of objectives • Working with our connectivity partner to identify connectivity options and costings. • High Level Solution Design .Technical Site design including: .Design of logically separated networks for staff (PCC-managed) and learner/education devices, including guest and student Wi-Fi. .Assessment of application requirements (e.g. Autodesk Fusion 360 and other engineering software) to inform network design and firewall configuration. •On site Wi-Fi survey .Validation of existing on-site infrastructure (structured cabling, access points, comms cabinet capacity) for reuse where appropriate. •Engage with suppliers to capture equipment costs. •Identify structured cabling requirements and communication cabinet requirements and provide to PCC to arrange for installation. •Production of a delivery plan detailing the schedule and costs
