Procurement of a national material and contingency system (NaM)

Politiets Fellestjenester (PFT), hereafter called the contracting authority, would like to enter into a contract for the delivery of a national material and logistics system (NaM). The project comprises the procurement of a national material and logistics system (NaM), which will see to the police's need for handling material and logistics. The police procures and owns the material, which, in total, has a large value. There is, however, no national material and logistics system that sees to the management of the material. A consequence of this is that the department has a limited overview of what available material there is, the condition of the material, and where it is. The current system largely depend on outdated technology and local competence. This makes the situation extremely vulnerable. The new system will replace the current systems, cover critical deviations, as well as include the handling of physical traces and proof at a new national long-term store. Based on procurements in previous years, the contracting authority, without obligation, estimates a scope of approx. NOK 40 million - NOK 90 million excluding VAT during the agreement period, including options.
