Description

The Contracting Authority would like a total tender for 1 nucleic acid extractor and 1 pipetting unit for the Department of Immunology and Transfusion Medicine, c/o the Section for Immune Haematology, Helse Bergen HF. The Section for Immune Haematology shall procure instruments for automated nucleic acid extraction of DNA/RNA and PCR preparation. The PCR preparation involves pipetting eluate from nucleic acid extraction and PCR reagents to a suitable tray for real time PCR analyses. The pipetting system must be compatible with the PCR instrument LightCycler 480 II, as this is established in the section. Most of the sample material will be plasma from pregnant women for the detection of cell-free foster DNA, so-called NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing). The system should therefore be able to carry out extraction from 1 ml plasma or more. There are expected to be approx. 2500 samples per annum.
