Network and Telephone Connectivity

Hull City Council (The Authority) is seeking tenders from interested organisations to provide Network and Telephone Connectivity. The tender is a restricted consisting of a one stage process. The contract is anticipated to commence in July 2024 ending by June 2029 with an option to extend for a period of 3 years. The Authority has estimated the value of the Services to be £1,187,843 per annum. Cost breakdown per lot is shown below: • Lot 1a Corporate Internet & 3rd Party Services – Contract Term of 5 years plus optional extension of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. Value £71,916.00 per annum. • Lot 1a Inter-site Connectivity (WAN) - Contract Term of 5 years plus optional extension of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. Value £1 million per annum. • Lot 4b Unified Communication – Contract Term of 5 years plus optional extension of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. Value £115,927.00 per annum. The estimated value is given in good faith to assist tenderers in making their submissions, it should not be interpreted as an undertaking to purchase any services to any particular value by the Authority and does not form part of the Contract. Lot 87322: RM6116 Lot 1a - Inter Site Connectivity (WAN) Services The Authority wishes to procure a range of flexible connectivity options across the City of Hull to support the requirements of the corporate Wide Area Network, the CCTV network, Housing multi-storey dwellings and any other potential connectivity projects which may arise in future. Lot 91763: RM6116 Lot 1a - Corporate internet & 3rd party services connectivity (1) The Authority has requirement to procure a high quality, highly available, resilient internet service delivered to two those two data centres (primary and secondary) referred to above. In addition, the provided service must be capable to accommodate the provision for a Microsoft Expressroute link (1gig) a PSN link (100Meg) and a link to HSCN to ensure continuity of the services offered by the Authority Lot 91764: RM6116 Lot 4b - Unified Communications services (1) The purpose of this tender is for the Hull City Council (the Authority) to enter into a contract with a single supplier for the provision of a Unified Communications solution as detailed in this statement of requirements document.
