Description

The contracting authority requests tenders for a pipetting robot with accompanying instrument dependent consumables. The products shall be delivered to Health Region West Health Trust, c/o the Centre for genetics and molecular medicine (MGM). A Pre-PCR robot and 1 Post-PCR robot who together shall form a system. MGM uses NGS technology for diagnostics of numerous illnesses, and the procedures are currently based on exome sequencing. In order to achieve a more effective, analyses of the pipeline by the contracting authority wants to automatise the procedure from genometrics DNA to libraries that are ready for sequencing. SeqCap EZ HyperCap with KAPA Hyper preparation kit is currently used for the Centre's accredited procedures. The contracting authority expects a volume of approx. 1,000 samples per annum. This procedure includes stages that involve genomic DNA an amplified DNA. The tenders must include a system that can handle this procedure. Due to the danger of contamination, the offered system should be able to divide the system into 1 part for genomic DNA and 1 part for amplified material. If the submitted tender only includes one robot, documentation must be presented that verifies that danger of contamination for amplified products is not present. The tender must contain a description of a complete system. Tenders for instrument dependent consumables must also be submitted.
