The Anstruther Care Village is the third development In the second phase of Fife Council's Care Home Replacement Programme. As a replacement to the aging Ladywalk home, It will provide a variety of care services to the local community on one site, Including residential care, day services, and extra care housing. The proposal comprises 16 new extra care housing apartments and a 24 bedded care home In a combined building, set In landscaped grounds. The proposal Incorporates 28 vehicle parking spaces. The proposed main buliding will accommodate: 24 bedroom residential care facility with ensuite within 2 Individual units with associated support rooms. Shared Services hub. 10 place day services facility with associated support rooms. 16 one bedroom two person (1b2p) sheltered housing dwelling flats with communal and staff support facilities. Shared communal housing facilities. Fife Council intends to tender for the design, supply, fabrication and installation of structural steelwork for an upcoming construction project.
