School catering services

Description

The successful supplier will be required to provide catering services for The Devonshire Hill Nursery and Primary School in North London, from September 2018. Catering services will include a hot lunch provision for pupils and staff, with ad-hoc requirement for hospitality and event catering. There are 446 pupils on roll, including 53 in the onsite nursery. The current estimated annual turnover is 135 000 GBP p/a. The contract will be for a period of 3 years, with the discretionary option to extend for a further 2 The Devonshire Hill Nursery and Primary School are looking for a catering provider who will use their experience of education catering to develop a partnership with the School, and deliver an outstanding catering service for pupils and staff. This contract will commence on 3.9.2018 and will be for an initial period of 3 years, with a discretionary extension of 2 years. The School has the following objectives in tendering their catering contract: — achieve a high standard of food and service quality, with an offer tailored to the School's needs, — improve uptake of School meals, — an open partnership with the Supplier, working together to improve standards, — a competitive and realistic fixed price financial arrangement, — regular operational monitoring and support, — ongoing innovation and development of the service.
