Construction of new sports facilities for school

Description

A contract is to be entered into for the sale of playing field land at Morgan Road, Reading, part of Reading School , and the associated development of sports pitches, associated changing facilities and access and parking arrangements on retained parts of at the site and the re-provision of new sports facilities at the School's Erleigh Road campus by the purchaser. The purchaser will also be responsible for the associated planning consultancy, project management and procurement of design, engineering and other ancillary professional services relating to the works. Lot 1: i. the installation of a 3G all-weather pitch and a three-quarter grass pitch at the Morgan Road site; ii. the construction of changing rooms at the Morgan Road site; iii. ancillary access and parking facilities at the Morgan Road site ; iv. the construction of an indoor sports centre at the Erleigh Road site the above to replace sports facilities lost following sale of land, v. associated planning consultancy, project management and procurement of design, engineering and other ancillary professional services relating to the above works.
