Dumfries and Galloway Council seek to commission an experienced organisation to support the development of a new three-year Local Child Poverty Action Report (LCPAR) covering the period 2027-2030. Lot 1: The organisation should; Provide a detailed project plan Provide a clear vision for the three-year period Develop an outcome framework linked to the drivers of poverty Produce a visual plan on a page, an engaging document that can be understood by both professionals and communities Establish priority themes, strategic priorities that reflect local need and evidence A clear explanation of what needs to change, why it matters, what actions will be taken and how change will be measured Action Planning which focusses on system change, prevention, income maximisation, reducing barriers, improving access, increasing family income and reducing household costs. Our Local Child Poverty Action Plan is more than just a statutory requirement, it’s vital to drive forward change and progress our aims of reducing child poverty.
