Description

The Tender is to establish a framework agreement for the supply of Unlicensed Compounded Specials to members of the East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative. Unlicensed compounded medicinal products are purchased to meet the clinical needs of patients for which no licensed medicine is available. Participating Trusts within the East Midlands have insufficient capacity to compound sufficient unlicensed medicines to meet their needs, therefore a supplier/supplier(s) are sought who are able to offer a high-quality, cost-effective service to supply unlicensed compounded medicines. Trusts will buy the unlicensed compounded medicines to hold as stock, to meet the anticipated future needs of their patients. The unlicensed medicines will, therefore, be required to be batch produced and quality assured.
