Mini Competition for the Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste under the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17)

Description

South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider for the provision of the Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste throughout South Lanarkshire. The proposed contract is a renewal of previous procurement arrangements. The call-off contract is under the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (no. 27/17). The Call Off Contract under the DPS is awarded via Mini-Competition: Lot 11 – Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste The Mini Competition contained four geographical sub-lots as detailed below to ensure that the travelling distances and times to/from the reprocessors’ facilities are maintained to a minimum. Lot 11 - Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste 11.1 - Receipt, Treatment and Disposal of Bulky Waste (North Area) 11.2 - Receipt, Treatment and Disposal of Bulky Waste (South Area) 11.3 - Receipt, Treatment and Disposal of Bulky Waste WUDS (North Area) 11.4 - Receipt, Treatment and Disposal of Bulky Waste WUDS (South Area) The Council reserved the right to appoint one or more contractors under each Mini Competition based on each geographical sub-lot. The contract will run for a period of five and a half years from 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2028 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months. Lot 1: Receipt and Processing of Bulky Waste - North Area South Lanarkshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider for the provision of the Receipt, Treatment and Processing of Bulky Waste throughout South Lanarkshire.
