The Tees Valley HomeFinder service manages the housing register and allocation of social housing across the Tees Valley partnership, advertising available properties and allocating homes in line with the Common Allocation Policy Lot 1: The service is procured by SBC on behalf of the Tees Valley HomeFinder Partners (Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland Councils, Beyond Housing and North Star) Whilst LA's are not legally required to maintain a housing register we are required to have an allocation scheme which identifies who qualifies for social housing / how applications are priorities and procedures for allocation properties. As a nonstock holding LA, we address local housing need via nominations to Registered Housing Provider housing stock. We maintain a housing register; we advertise and let these properties in accordance with the Tees Valley Common Allocation Policy.
