Description

The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (“the Contracting Authority”) requires suppliers to provide daily delivery of a range of fresh fish and smoked fish to the Houses of the Oireachtas Catering Facilities for use in its restaurants and catering outlets throughout the year. Detailed specifications of the fish required can be found in section 1 of Appendix 1 of the RFT as well as Appendix 2A Pricing Schedule. The Contracting Authority is responsible for the running of the Houses of the Oireachtas, or Irish Parliament, (Dáil Éireann, Seanad Éireann and Oireachtas Committees), and acts as governing body of the Office of the Houses of the Oireachtas Service (“the Service”) (further information is available at www.oireachtas.ie) Lot 1: The Houses of the Oireachtas Commission (“the Contracting Authority”) requires suppliers to provide daily delivery of a range of fresh fish and smoked fish to the Houses of the Oireachtas Catering Facilities for use in its restaurants and catering outlets throughout the year. These facilities fall within the overall responsibility of Members Services (Catering) in the Houses of the Oireachtas Service and are operated by the Catering Manager (‘the Manager’) and the Bar Manager. All Goods must be fit for purpose and of a quality acceptable to the Contracting Authority and must be supplied in accordance with the product specifications set out in the Tender and must, at a minimum, meet or exceed the specifications in Appendix 1 of the RFT and the additional specifications if detailed in Appendix 2A Pricing Schedule.
