EXPRESSION OF INTEREST B&B

Description

The Housing Act 1996 imposes a duty on local authorities to provide interim/temporary accommodation for households who are eligible for assistance, homeless and in a priority need. Whilst every effort is made to move households onto more settled accommodation as quickly as possible, some households may remain in temporary accommodation for a number of months. Gosport Borough Council are seeking to identify potential providers of temporary emergency accommodation. We would like to hear from providers that are able to provide ad-hoc provision of short-term accommodation such as B&B, nightly let, self-contained or shared to meet the needs of homeless households.
