UCD is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment that ensures that all students have access to educational opportunities and related activities. Recognising the diverse needs of our student population, we acknowledge that some students with disabilities face significant challenges in using conventional public transport due to the nature and severity of their disabilities. Many students with mobility challenges or other health conditions require specialised transportation arrangements to safely and comfortably travel between their home residences, campuses and associated facilities. These students may not be able to utilise standard public transport options, which can lack the necessary accessibility features or accommodations, thereby creating barriers to their participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
