Outreach Support

Description

The Outreach Support service is provided in conjunction with the 1st Stop Accommodation Service (CRN SLC/HT/24/159). 1st Stop Accommodation, a property in Ferniegair Hamilton, is comprised of eleven rooms run by Wheatley Care. This contract for Outreach Support is provided to individuals resident at the Ferniegair, Hamilton property. The provider will deliver a responsive service that will support homeless individuals to resolve their homelessness, aiming to prevent both repeat homelessness and / or homelessness occurring in the first place. The Council can make referrals to the property at any time during the day or night and, therefore, the provider must ensure that they can accept residents and provide a housing management service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. All service users will have approached South Lanarkshire Council for homelessness assistance and will be roofless as the time of referral. Lot 1: Negotiated SO9. 1st December 2024 - 30th November 2025 (plus 12-month optional extension). The works, services or supplies can be supplied by only one suitable contractor because competition is absent for technical reasons and no alternative or substitute exists and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement. Standing Order 10.4a (i) In the opinion of the Executive Director the needs of the individual(s) concerned would be best met by a particular Provider; and Standing Order 10.4a (iv) there are special circumstances such as ownership of land or property, geographic locations or particular skills or experience of providers of social care which limit the choice to one provider.
