Description
This project includes the making safe of two mine openings at the Ballymurtagh Avoca Mine Site. One mine opening requires excavation of the collapsezone back to bare rock face, and installation of a concrete block bulkhead to prevent future access. The other mine opening requires the cleaning of vegetation and debris from an unprotected deep depression/fissure and filling of hte void space with improted clean stone. Full details of the works required are provided in the accompaning spectification document.
