Description

To follow the outcomes of the shape your Paisley Book Festival community consultation event. To help shape the festival. To find its place amongst wider Scottish/UK landscape and to work with the festival partners on business planning, growing and sustaining the festival in the long term. We are looking for a creative and inspiring organisation, agency or individual to deliver the Paisley Book Festival. The contractor should have experience of book festival production and management and a clear understanding of how the word, in all its forms, can make a difference. They should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of how important books and book related events are in bringing communities together, making connections, developing learning and improving well-being. At the same time, they should understand the commercial potential of book festivals and lay the foundations for its financial sustainability.
