This procurement was conducted under the APUC framework - Microscopes and Imaging Equipment including Associated Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs LAB1028 AP: Lot 3 - Laser-based Imaging Systems and Laser Components. Awarded under the ranked process. The Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) is an international centre of excellence for basic and applied research in neurological disease. This is to provide the supply, installation and commissioning of a laser-based lattice light-sheet microscope for the long-term live imaging of a wide range of samples, including cultured cells, small embryos (zebrafish) and 3D cell cultures.
