Description
Severn Trent Water are looking for partners to develop a fast and safe to install base slab reinforcement for a range of liquid storage tanks. These tanks can be either rectangular or circular and are to be constructed from Severn Trent designed modular pre-cast concrete panels which are much quicker to install than traditional offerings. The design of the base slab reinforcements should focus on creating a small catalogue of optimised repeatable units that can be deployed to any size of tank without major modification to the design philosophy. The solution should focus on minimising installation time on site and reduce the amount of manual handling whilst ensuring the base slab and wall are correctly structurally tied together.
