Description

Scottish Water (SW) requires expertise, guidance, out of hours support and resource in installation, maintenance, operations, data collection and management of Metering Services. Supplier(s) will work with SW’s “in-house” provision and its suppliers of Energy and Bureau and Software Services. SW has approximately 4 822 active sites connected to the distribution network for the provision of electricity. SW requires a a comprehensive end-to-end managed service for its HH, AMR and Private Meters. Scottish Water (SW) requires expertise, guidance, out of hours support and resource in installation, maintenance, operations, data collection and management of Metering Services. Supplier(s) will work with SW’s “in-house” provision and its suppliers of Energy and Bureau and Software Services. SW has approximately 4 822 active sites connected to the distribution network for the provision of electricity with a total of 4 898 MPAN’s. 457 meters across 441 sites (not including P272) are traded in the half hourly market and represent 80 % of Scottish Water's electricity consumption along with 68 pseudo export MPAN’s and 25 export MPAN’s. 4441 MPAN’s (including AMR, Traditional and P272) across 4 393 sites are traded in the non-half hourly market and represent 20 % of Scottish Water's electricity consumption. Scottish Water requires a meter operator services provider for its HH, AMR and Private Meters. Scottish Water's requirement for meter operator services involves the capabilities to offer a comprehensive end-to-end managed service covering the following aspects: 1. Provision of CoP3, CoP5 and CoP10 meters and associated equipment (MAP). Note that Scottish Water intends to rent the meters 2. Installation and maintenance/repair of CoP3, CoP5 and CoP10 meters and associated equipment (MAM) by a Balancing and Settlement Code accredited operator who is also a signatory of the Meter Operation Code of Practice Agreement (MOCPA) 3. Data retrieval (DR) 4. Data collection (DC) 5. Data provision to Scottish Water and Scottish Water's electricity supplier and Scottish Water's Power Purchase Agreement provider for HH sites
