Overview - Lewis Pies Limited make pastry based products for a range of sectors. LEWIS PIES ARE LOOKING FOR A GLAZER / SEED DUSTER Finished product is placed on baking sheets and is currently sent through a separate glazing unit. The glazing unit deposits egg glaze onto the products and the trays. This wastes product and places glaze onto the trays which bakes on and creates mess. We are looking to purchase an inline glazer. The glazing unit will be spinning disc or direct spray as is industry standard. Product will come off the end of our divergent line and onto this glazer in line. The belt will be of wire construction or plastic interlinked type. Product must travel through the glazer to be washed. The product travels onward and onto a separate belt which handles toppings that are to be sprinkled onto the product. Both sections, Glazer and duster must both have recovery tanks to recycle unused material.
